Great bed for older dogs

This bed is wonderful especially for large older dogs who find it difficult to rise from a floor level bed. They can safely step out of this bed and be almost upright. It must be very comfortable too for the dogs as our Greyhound rarely leaves it!

Excellent product, happy dog!

This bed was easy to assemble and my dog was on it as soon as I finished. He seems to enjoy being up off the chilly floor and zonks out pretty hard when we come in from runs in the snow. Living in eastern MT we get big temperature swings, so I am sure he will appreciate the air flow underneath come summer.

Awesome Bed for My Dog

Niko, my Siberian Husky absolutely loves to sun in his new bed....it’s large enough for him, very ergonomically sound for his body and he's enjoying it. I know it's going to be cool for him during the spring/ summer months with airflow underneath the bed. It's awesome and I'm satisfied!!

She really likes it!

I've got a Dalmatian mix- it's nice and lightweight so I can move it easily into the bathroom where my dog stays when I'm away from the house, and she likes sleeping on it much better than her old foam bed. I can lift it from the bottom so that I don't get dog hair all over my clean clothes, and I've yet to wash the cover but I'm sure it probably cleans up well. I'm thinking about putting it in the back of my car so that she'll be extra cozy on long drives.

Love It!

We now own both a poly resin and an aluminum Kuranda bed. Both are equally GREAT. Our aging Rotti is able to get up and down from the Kuranda beds much easier then the floor. And they've proven to withstand the constant testing of our 2 young Tibetan Masstiff X's. We're looking forward to ordering the Kuranda outdoor version this Spring.

Finally! my dogs can rest in comfort!

Because I have 5 dogs, all but one a rescue, I have tile floors. I am not able to put nice, fluffy beds on the floor because one likes to pee on bedding on the floor, and two others like to chew the stuffing out of anything fluffy. I had to find a solution where they could be up off of the cold tile, and still have the comfort of a soft bed. The Kuranda bed does just this. There is no stuffing to pull out, but it supports them and keeps them comfortable. As soon as I had assembled the first one, they jumped onto it and started chewing their toys. So, guess what? I had to order one more! My husband likes the look, and it keeps us from having to constantly wash bedding. I have already told several of my friends who have also rescued dogs. Also, one of my dogs is a dachsund, which are prone to back injuries (a lot of times from jumping onto living room furniture), so this allows her to get up onto a bed that is still low to the ground. I am so happy I purchased the beds! Thank you very much!

Perfect Bed

The best bed that we have ever purchased. Our dog loves it. It is built very well and should last a long time. Perfect for our dogs kennel in our garage, keeps her off of the cold concrete floor.

Dump the specialist vet visits

I would never have believed this, it's simply incredible. I called the president of Kuranda a few months back and reported this... My two 2 year old Irish Setters each have an unusual issue. One has the big lumps on his front leg elbows and the other has large areas of soreness and hair loss on the side of the hip. Neither tolerates any soft padding, as they are chewers and diggers. My back yard is a moonscape. It's totally incredible how both conditions, the elbows and the skin irritation, have disappeared after having the beds for a couple months, and the change started within a couple weeks of having them.

I would definitely buy another one

Our dog had calluses on his elbows and this bed really helped to eliminate them. We also have the sheepskin cover, and he really enjoys that. Now there is never any movement or circling around in his crate, he lays down and goes right to sleep!

Best idea since the original Kuranda Bed

I bought the bunk bed for the occasional times we have two dogs in an outdoor kennel. After assembling the bed in the living room, our Brittany (10-yr old Kandy) immediately jumped up. All of our dogs love sleeping in the sun AND looking out the window, and have made this bed a favorite. Guess I need to order another one for the outdoor kennel, since this one is staying right here.

Pricey? Perhaps, but worth every penny!

I have the bunk beds in my kitchen, in front of the sliding patio doors, where my rough and tumble rescue dogs can play and snooze. This product is attractive, yet indestructible -- a play ground and a comfy bed that gives each dog their space. They ruined other beds I purchased and this one barely shows the wear and tear! We all love it!

The beds are wonderful

We ordered our first Kuranda bed for our AmStaff, Tony in 1998. Prior to that purchase our strong jawed darling had eatin several dog beds as well as a dining room table and a chair. I was assured that he COULD NOT eat or get hold of the fabric on this bed. Got to tell ya...we ordered a 2nd in '2000 so he'd have one & our Westie would have one. The beds are wonderful. I don't have to worry about them laying on cement or ingesting any fabric like they would have had they been using regular dog beds. I'm now ordering replacement fabric for the orginal bed. After 5 years of sun and weather it has finally started to wear. With a 75 pound AmStaff on it, it's needing replacement. So happy that we can order the fabric for the frame is perfect. I recommened the product to everyone I know that has pets. Thank you.

My puppies love their Kuranda beds.

Here are my 8 week old springer puppies after dinner. It has been so nice to find a safe bed that my puppies couldn't chew, and is so easy to keep clean. My kids and my puppies love their Kuranda beds.

There is only one Kuranda

I went to pet stores and looked at similar type beds. I went to another rescue and looked at the Kuranda bed. I then went to the kuranda site and reviewed. I like Kuranda the best, easy to buy replacement parts and materials should I ever need them. I mainly rescue dachshunds, so I love the beds with the crate-smaller legs. My dogs love to pee on everything. Typical dog beds do not survive the wash and dry cycles. I love your beds so much that I sent one of my large beds with a golden retriever that has severe hip problems that only get worse if he sleeps on the floor or ground. He loves his bed and his new home is also very impressed with the beds. There are many beds that look like Kuranda beds but there is only one Kuranda. Thank you for making such a great product and standing behind it. I am proud to use your products.

Your dog can’t chew the fabric because we’ve hidden the edges inside the rails.
Lumpy pillow beds are not supportive and create pressure points. Ouch!
The even support of a Kuranda bed is better for your dog’s joints.
Air can flow under the bed, keeping your dog cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
Our beds are easy to clean! Just wipe them off or hose them down.
Why not add a fleece pad for extra coziness?
Get your dog a chew proof Kuranda bed and you won’t come home to explosions like this:
