Great. Works well as a stepmom and off my bed and saves their joints.

Ive been a customer of Kuranda for nearly 5 years. I feel the quality is exceptional, is made in the USA, and above all, my dog loves it.

Disappointed with the pillow pad of the Kuranda. Our dogs like to nest and because of that the material pillow pad tore within the first 2 weeks and had to be thrown out. My suggestion would be to have the pillow pad either Velcro to the Kuranda or have more attachment sites. On a good note the pillow pad we ordered for the 2nd Kuranda we bought was made of cordura type fabric and so far it has held up to nesting.

My dog didn’t want to sleep in her bed at night until we added the bolster. I ordered a second for washing weekly to reduce dust mites.

My 2 year old Lab mix has always slept on a Kuranda bed. This fall I added the bolster & pad combo to her bed and now it looks more like a dog "den": cozy and secure. It looks inviting and she seems to enjoy it.

I had the kuranda bed for 4 years and just ordered the pad and bolster and Clark immediately jumped in and loves it! He isn’t one to sleep outside his crate if he is not sleeping on someone so this is saying something!

Excellent!. I bought a Kuranda bed for my puppy and even with the blanket, she didnt really want to stay in her bed, but the bolster and pillow pad were a game changer!!!.. now she jumps on her bed and stays hours playing there ...she really likes it!

My new adopted rescue from DRT/NC loves the comfort of her bolster bed. High enough to allow her to look out the front window and see the world of a cul-de-sac.

Perfect addition to our Kurunda beds. Our dogs never want to get up now. Maybe we need a human version :)

Excellent product

Nice idea and material but bolster is too big and hangs from the sides of the Kuranda bed. Definitely doesn’t look nice and tidy like the website picture.

Had the bolster for one month so far and both I and my pup are very happy with it. He appears much happier and is no longer leaning against the wire crate. I use the bolster in a crate and hope in the future a second version of this product becomes available which has the bolster on just three sides to allow easier entry/exit into the crate and allow the gate to function more easily.

We went all out and bought the PVC 20x30 bed, bolster, and pillow pad for our 6-year-old dog, and we put a 30x30 table over it so it would have a roof. Our dog was suspicious at first, since she'd spent more than 4 years sleeping with us. We lured her into the bed with irresistible treats, and within a few days she lost her fear of it. Then followed several nights of interrupted sleep for all of us, as she kept coming to our bed--just a few feet away from ours--for reassurance. Finally she began sleeping all night in her own bed, and even hanging out there sometimes during the day. Success! She knows we still love her, and we all sleep more comfortably!

I bought the aluminum bed with the heavy duty vinyl 6 years ago and it's held up perfectly (not for my dog's lack of trying to ruin it at first, she eventually gave up). My dog has finally phased out of her destructive dog bed eating habits so we decided to add the bolster bed and pillow rather than purchase an entire new bed since the frame itself is in perfect shape. I was worried it would take a little adjusting being a raised bolster bed but she took to it immediately and rarely moves around in the middle of the night. I think being off the floor is helping her aging hips as well.

I ordered the bolster and pillow pad and now my golden loves his Kuranda elevated bed, as it is so comfy! He loves that he has a place for his head.

The Kuranda bed/bolster are excellent. Sadly, we no longer need the. They were donated to a shelter.

She watched me put the bed together, laid on the canvas before I attached it. Even got the bed when it was just the canvas. I put the bolster on and she jumped in the bed, took one sniff, and then peed all over the place. She has NEVER peed on anything or in the house before. Now she won't go anywhere near it after months of trying different things, I have a very expensive useless bed.

I bought the bolster and pillow pad shortly after I bought the standard bed. My dog is a giant at 120 lbs and has a back injury that flares up now and then. The bolster pad keeps his neck and spine level when he sleeps, and protects him from rolling off the bed (it's happened more than once). I recently hesitantly put it through a machine wash and tumble dry and everything was like new afterward. Our cat has snuck in some naps on it as well. It was well worth the investment!

I added the bolster cushion shortly after buying the vinyl bed frame for my 120 lb Lab/Mastiff/etc. cross. He had a back injury and this setup is much easier for him to sleep keeping his neck and spine level. Everything was easy to assemble and it feels sturdy even under his gigantic body. He has space to sprawl a bit, without falling off the bed (it's happened). Even my cat sneaks in to steal a nap, so it appears to be a success for both of them!
