Shelter Shout Out: Shultz’s Guest House

Posted by Caroline Aro on 04/20/2026

We choose one of our ShelterBeds animal welfare organizations to feature in our Shelter Shout Out series on the blog. This month, we're going to learn more about Shultz's Guest House! Shultz's Guest House is a 501c3 dog rescue located in Dedham, Massachusetts. Located on 200 beautiful private acres, this shelter offers a secure haven for dogs as they await their forever homes.

Their goal is to help as many dogs (or "guests") as possible to give the utmost dedication to their well-being, providing excellent care for over 16 years. They provide transport to strays, abandoned or mistreated dogs in the southern area of the country, up to Massachusetts. Medical care and shelter are provided for each guest to address and manage health needs. Each guest is given daily walks, stimulation, socialization and lots of love from the volunteers. This allows for a quite, stress-free and safe environment until their forever families come to adopt.
