Kuranda beds do not ship assembled, but putting your bed together is a simple task that should only take about 10 – 15 minutes.
When we ship beds assembled, these shipments incur “oversized rates” which nearly triples shipping costs. Including those exorbitant shipping costs in the product price is easier for other companies who have their products manufactured overseas. Our products are made in-house in Glen Burnie, MD and almost all materials are sourced domestically, so we find including those extra shipping rates much more difficult.
You will need a flat surface to work on, a Phillips head screwdriver, a 7/16 (or adjustable) wrench or socket wrench to assemble your bed. You may use an electric drill, but be careful to not strip screws or over-tighten. Be sure to protect the surface area that you are working on.
If you’re having any trouble assembling your bed, please don’t hesitate to give us a call and we’d be happy to troubleshoot or walk you through the process!
