Our Bolster Add-on was designed for those customers who already have a Pillow Pad or a Canvas Bed Pad and just want to add the Bolster option. It is also available for those customers who want to order a colorful Canvas Bed Pad and pair it with the Bolster.
Sewn with elastics on the pillow pad that slide through holes sewn at the corners of the bolster to anchor it to the Kuranda Bed. Machine wash cold, tumble dry low. Covered under a 30 day warranty against manufacture's defects. Not chew proof.
- Bolster shell to be paired with any Pillow Pad, Canvas Bed Pad or Custom Bed Pad.
- This item does not include a pillow pad of any kind. (For the complete set, see our Bolster & Fleece option).
- 100% polyester.
- Openings sewn at each corner for elastic bands from the existing Bed Pad to attach to the legs and anchor the Pad and Bolster to the Kuranda Bed.
- Can be added to a Pillow Pad or a Canvas Bed Pad.
- Machine wash cold, tumble dry low.
- Warranted against manufacturer defects for 30 days - Not Chew proof

Have had my bed through 3 dogs, they love it, have purchased many pads, recently purchased the Bolster Add On and my dog hasn’t slept on it since. Tried washing it, tons of treats, and put blanket under pad in case additional height was the problem 😒

At first out dog was a bit hesitant to use her new bed, but eventually she came to love it and the pillow pad. Once Kuranda came out with the bolster add-on, we ordered one of those as well. Our dog loves cuddling up against the bolster or resting her head on it. It's a great bed that's durable and comfortable for her.

I do not like the item. The material is rough and thin, and the bolster is way too big to fit the bed.

Hi Candee, it looks like you ordered the Bolster Add-on but I don't see any bed pads in your order history that you would be using with it. The Bolster Add-on is not made to be used without a bed bad in it. If you add the bed pad, it should fit much better. We already own 3 beds with pads. We decided to try the bolster with one of our beds. Needless to say, our dog loves it as much as she does the beds. Better than kryptonite

For many generations of canines your beds have been a hit. Alas the addition of the bolster was not. For 2 weeks I tried to coax and wheedle my crew to sleep on it, but unless given a stay, it was the equivalent of kryptonite. Because the return policy excludes this product, at $100+ dollars it is a pricey experiment.

Overall great experience so far. Our doberman doesn’t try to chew it, as this was a problem with a previous dog bed before. It gives extra cushion to the sides of the Kuranda bed so he seems to like sleeping on it more. Fast shipping.

My boys like them. I actually bought 2, 1 for each bed. My lab has his own bed and my Catahoula and Terrier mix share one. They could use a little more stuffing but they’ll be fine.

When we gave Gracy her bolster bed she thought it was the best thing ever. I’ve never seen her so comfortable in her bed. She can rest her chin and look out the window, or snooze comfortably.

Duncan loves his Kuranda beds (2 inside & 1 outside). I recently purchased the bolster because I was tired of trying to keep a dog blanket rolled up around the back of his bed to keep him warmer in the winter time. He loves to curl up inside the bolster as he snuggles down to sleep.

This is a very nice bolster, but just know your dog. The texture and stuffed filling had our pup gnawing on it. There was a hole within minutes. So, I sewed the hole and covered the entire bed with a blanket. He isn’t tempted to chew on the texture of the blanket. So, for now we have found a way to make it work. He loves to snuggle inside. Just wish there were an option with tougher fabric. He never chews on our plush pad for his Kuranda.

Two Bolster Add-ons for one Spoiled Dog

I have used Kuranda beds and cushions for years and 4 dogs. When I rescued a 3 year-old beagle I immediately bought her and indoor and outdoor Kuranda bed with cushions. This was before I new about Bolster Cushions. When I saw them on the website I immediately bought one for each bed as a Christmas present. At first my beagle did not know what to make of them, but a day or two later, she was in her bed with her chin resting on the bolster. Now, whether indoors or out, she curls up against the bolster and is snug as a bug in a rug. Evidently she was raised outside with no amenities before I rescued her, now she lives in the lap of luxury.

My dog uses the bolster as a pillow and loves it! I love it because it is made of high-quality fabric that is washable + does not hold odor! I wash it in the washing machine once a week – but even if I wait two weeks to wash the bolster – it still doesn’t smell bad. The best part is – it still looks brand new – even after daily use and weekly washing.

Awesome bed, but get the pad and pillow

Our dogs love the Kuranda bed we bought. We purchased two of them. We got one with the pad and pillow (bolster they call it). Our dogs love the one with the pad and bolster. They won’t even look at the other one. We’re gonna get another pad and bolster for the other one soon. Well worth the price! Honestly, I thought it would be a waste of money. I thought I could buy some pvc pipe and build it myself for $20. But there not regular pvc pipe. I guess you could probably find the pipe somewhere online. But it’s much easier and simpler just to buy from them.
