Shelter Shout Out: The Asher House

Each month, we highlight one of our animal welfare partners. Whether they’ve held a successful ShelterBeds donation drive or are just doing some great, unique work for the animals in need, we think it’s important to recognize them!

This month, we’re featuring The Asher House. The Asher House is a registered non-profit sanctuary located in Salem, Oregon that rescues all kinds of “unwanted” animals. The Asher House’s founder, Lee Asher, tours the country to promote dog adoption while featuring a variety of shelters and rescues.

The Asher House has been running an incredibly successful ongoing Kuranda bed campaign. They have received over 250 donated beds in three months! Through social media, email marketing and word of mouth, they’ve raised awareness for their need of Kuranda beds for the animals in their care and their supporters absolutely came through.
