Shelter Shout Out: Los Angeles Animal Services

Our Shelter Shout Out series highlights a different animal welfare group each month. Whether they’ve run a successful ShelterBeds donation campaign, have a unique mission or are doing other interesting work for animals in need (or anything else) they’re worth mentioning! These groups are doing invaluable work to care for these animals.
This month, we’re featuring Los Angeles Animal Services. After the Palisades Fire in January, Los Angeles Animal Services stepped up for their community. Providing and sharing various resources such as animal evacuation services and other information on state and federal disaster recovery programs.
Not only that, but inevitably, the shelter has taken in countless pets who have been lost and displaced. They have set up a search page for families to be reunited with their lost pets. They’re taking care of dogs and cats, of course, but also lost turtles, chickens, other birds and any animal in need.
