Happy Thank Your Pet Sitter Day!

Since 1995, Pet Sitters International has held Pet Sitters Week as an annual week-long observance to promote pet sitting. To provide even more recognition to professional pet sitters, a new annual celebration was born in 2023 - Thank Your Pet Sitter Day! This is a day to recognize professional pet sitters and the work that they do to keep our pets happy and healthy while we're away. This year, we're celebrating this day on March 4th.

There are plenty of (free!) ways to support your professional pet sitter:
- Word of mouth is a powerful tool! Recommend your pet sitter to friends, family, neighbors through Facebook, NextDoor, in person etc.
- Happy with your service? Let the world know! A positive review on your pet sitter's website, Google, Yelp or Facebook can make a big impact.
- Like, comment and share their social media posts and stories.
