Kuranda Beds are wonderful beds for small dogs. All dogs love furniture but small dogs especially love to be up on the furniture but that’s not always what you love! Kuranda Beds are raised, cot-style beds that make small dogs feel like they have their very own piece of furniture which people love because it keeps the dogs off of the real furniture! Smaller dogs often prefer our fleece pads for extra-plush feel; just remember that while our beds are chew proof, our fleece pads are not. If you have a particularly short dog like a dachshund, we can swap out the normal 4 ¾” legs for our shorter, 3” legs, you’ll just have to call to place that order so we can make the substitution. We have spent 100's of dollars on beds for our 3 small dogs. They chew through everything we have purchased, including the Kong beds that are supposed to be tough. Great Dog Bed!
Having owned many small dogs in the past and never having much luck with their actually using a bed or cushion, I went online to search dog beds that Shiba Inu dogs prefer. Many reviews stated the Kuranda dog bed, and so I decided to give it a try. The minute I put my new puppy down she went right into the bed, and continues to do so. She absolutely loves it, and I couldn't be more satisfied.

I bought a Kuranda bed size small for my Jack Russell X.
I appreciate that it cleans easily, that it's up off the floor (we have cold winters), that it's durable (my dog chewed and ripped about 6 mats before I decided she needed something a little more substantial), that it's an attractive design, and that assembly was very easy and straightforward.

Great dog bed
I have two small dogs - Yorkie and Yorkie/Westie mix. Together they literally weigh 13lbs. But somehow, they manage to tear apart the biggest, best dog beds we can find. So I did my research, I figured if I buy the most expensive one I can find they can't chew it right? Wrong. They chewed through another company's bed in 3 days flat. .. Long story short, I have had this Kuranda bed for about a week now, my dogs sleep on it in their kennel and they don't even TRY to chew it. .. Love it, easy to clean if we need to, very simple design, short enough to let them jump on it (they have trouble jumping our stairs).
