What’s the difference between Kuranda Dog Beds and K9 Ballistics?
Kuranda Dog Beds have a patented design which secures the fabric inside a special channel in the frame, making the fabric totally inaccessible to dogs. We offer frame options in either a co-extruded PVC or anodized aluminum that won't corrode or rust.
There are no corner gaps in the fabric or exposed edges that a dog could grab and chew. Kuranda Dog Beds are backed with an all-inclusive 1 year warranty (*except vinyl weave fabric which is susceptible to damage from digging).
The K9 Ballistics bed frame does not completely encase the fabric edges, leaving the underside of the bed vulnerable to digging & chewing.
Kuranda Dog Beds most durable fabric option (of our 4 fabric options) is a heavy duty, 40 oz vinyl. It holds up to use in shelters, rescues and professional boarding kennels. It is non-absorbent which makes it easy to clean and sanitize, wipe dry and use again right away.
K9 Ballistics bed comes with 1 fabric option; a ballistic “rip-stop” material. Our goal isn’t to stop rips from getting too big, but to prevent them from happening in the first place.
