Carolyn Nieman works closely with Juanita Murphy at Natchitoches Humane Society and they are both excited to compete.
Carolyn says "I am a foster for the Natchitoches Humane Society. On June 9th, 2015 they rescued a pregnant dog named Hope from the local City Animal Shelter, and placed her in my home. On June 28th she gave birth to these 9 beautiful puppies. Thanks to the Natchitoches Humane Society these animals now have a chance to find forever homes & have all the love they need. The very first time we took them outside they eagerly climbed up onto the Kuranda bed. This Kuranda bed has seen many foster dogs, but never so many at once! I would love it if dogs in shelters everywhere could have a Kuranda"
"The Natchitoches Humane Society is an all volunteer 501(c)3 non profit, no-kill organization supported entirely by donations and member dues. Our mission is to provide care and treatment for homeless animals in need, and to find them suitable homes. To help guide the public in education regarding the health and care of animals. To raise awareness of the importance of heartworm prevention, spaying/neutering, vaccinations and the overall health and well being of animals. Currently our dogs only have concrete or rocks to lie on. The addition of Kuranda beds to our shelter would make a world of difference in the lives of our animals." - Says Juanita Murphy
