Happy Hounds

Henry and Leia, happy and comfortable on their Kuranda Dog Beds.

Kristin Hedberg is thrilled to be competing in the July Dog of the Month Contest and to be supporting Brother Wolf Animal Rescue!

Brother Wolf Animal Rescue is a No Kill organization based in Asheville, North Carolina and was founded in 2007 to provide the resources and lifesaving programs to build a No Kill community. As a grassroots organization, BWAR operates a one-of-a-kind adoption center that is open to the public 365 days a year making it easy to adopt, volunteer, and become involved in our No Kill mission.

Kristin Hedberg says "Henry and Leia are sibling hounds adopted by myself and my husband, Nik, about 18 months ago. They were rescued from a kill shelter by Brother Wolf. Henry and Leia were neglected, abused and never socialized. We have seen so much growth in their confidence and acceptance of human love. Brother Wolf is working to create and entirely no-kill community in our area. They are going to be opening a sanctuary for dogs, particularly for ones who have been through the roughest situations and may need more time to become adoptable or may need to live their entire lives there. I am so thankful Brother Wolf saved Henry and Leia from such a terrible beginning so that we could meet them and bring them to their true homes. My husband and I have three cats and two dogs, four of which were adopted through Brother Wolf. Brother Wolf."

My contest has ended, but you can vote for the current month's participants.

Your dog can’t chew the fabric because we’ve hidden the edges inside the rails.
Lumpy pillow beds are not supportive and create pressure points. Ouch!
The even support of a Kuranda bed is better for your dog’s joints.
Air can flow under the bed, keeping your dog cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
Our beds are easy to clean! Just wipe them off or hose them down.
Why not add a fleece pad for extra coziness?
Get your dog a chew proof Kuranda bed and you won’t come home to explosions like this:
