We have gone through several beds over the years. So far, this is the best. It's easy to move around and to clean. If Nicky, our German shepherd, didn't like it, she would be on the floor or in her cage.

The aluminum frame bed is great - the only thing is that my puppy still managed to somehow get at the foam cushion while the cover was over it! amazingly, she did not destroy the cover but the foam cushion was in many tiny pieces. She seemed quite pleased with herself...! only now she just gets the bare-bones bed when we are not there and I don't think she particularly likes that. Our 4-year old dog is still not used to his new bed; he keeps gravitating to his old donut bed. Change is tough for some dogs!

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

the new bed looks great and appears to be very durable - just not sure how to get the dog to start using it. lol. we hope with time he will enjoy his new bed... once he realizes that's what it is for.

Absolutely awesome

My dog is an incredible chewer. He chewed his first dog bed at the age of 6 months. I tried various other dog beds--some were pretty expensive. All of them were chewed to pieces.. He's had his Kuranda bed for two weeks now. I haven't found a chew mark on it. If your dog is an aggressive chewer, this is the bed for you.

It is very well-made, easy to put together, and has excellent instructions.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

We have two large and one extra large Kuranda beds and allow them to sleep on the couch. I have three that prefer the Kuranda beds. They are cool with air circulating underneath and protect their joints. Easy to vacuum and clean and look nice even in a den!

I inititially ordered 4 large dog beds - 2 for home & 2 for the office. I have a large puppy who still needs to be crated & the large bed did not fit into either of her crates, even though the crates are quite large. So, I donated 2 of the large beds to our doggie daycare for them to test out and I bought 2 smaller ones to replace them. Neither of our two dogs has gravitated to the new beds - they seem to prefer the old donut-shaped ones. But I guess these things take time so the jury is still out! I'll let you know.

We reccomend you put a towel or some other thing your dog is familiar with... If they still aren't comfortable on the bed, call us. We'll take it back, provided it's still in "like new" condition.

This bed was a god send! I cant tell you how many beds my Yellow Labrador went through. Well yes I can about 4 and that's not including all the blankets. After all the money I wasted on them I could have Bought him 2 of these. Amazing build quality and durability! I Got aluminum rails with 40oz material and it has lasted amazing. My Yellow lab is about 80 lbs of sheer muscle at 9 1/2 months and he hasn't wrecked it yet and trust me if he could he would! Great bed you wont be disappointed.

My dogs do use this when they are on the porch. I purchased this for my large dog but the little guy constantly tries to steal it from him. I'm not sure this was worth the price. Neither one of my dogs chew things so I was mostly swayed by the longevity claim. When first assembled the material was tight and looked perfect. Now after about a month of light use, the cordura fabric is pretty wrinkled. It might have been more cost effective had I purchased a less expensive brand. For this reason, I wouldn't feel comfortable recommending this expensive bed to a friend.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

We calle "Undecided" and determined that the sewing for her bed fabric was devective and have replaced it no charge. We don't want any of our fabrics to wrinkle or sag.
