April Jones and her team at Washington County Johnson City Humane Society are thrilled to be competing with Vicky Shively! April says "The Washington County Johnson City Animal Control Center is an animal care and control agency that assumes a unique role in the community. It was created as a joint venture between the city and county to enforce the animal control laws of the city and state. It protects the rights of people against the dangers and nuisances of uncontrolled animals and protects animals from mistreatment and abuse from people. Promoting, motivating and enforcing responsible pet ownership is our number one goal."
Vicky Shively says "We adopted Drake from the Washington County Johnson City. Shelter when he was. 11 months old and he is now 8 years old. He has been an absolute joy to me and my family. He was very timid at first but it didn't take long for him to adopt us too! Drake loves to play, and he is always willing to pose for the camera. He loves his new Kuranda bed and really enjoys napping on it outside."
My contest has ended, but you can vote for the current month's participants.
