A Special Bed for a Special Girl

Rescuing special needs animals, like Bunny and Pasha, means we take on more responsibilities than rehabilitating them and helping them have a great quality of life.  There are behind-the-scenes issues, that I would not have guessed, had I not had these experiences.  Each new injury or disability, teaches me something new. In addition to needing doggie wheelchairs, Bunny and Pasha have some incontinence problems that needed addressing.  Doggie diapers don't solve the problem--they just save a clean-up or two each day. Answering our plea for a incontinence solution, right before Christmas, 2008, Kuranda sent Bunny a Christmas present!  This is made of the material that allows urine to flow through it.  With a towel on the floor, Bunny could sleep through the night without sleeping on a wet quilt or bed.

Bunny and Pasha are rescued dogs of Saint Bernard Rescue Foundation of Texas.   Read the full story

Lumpy pillow beds are not supportive and create pressure points. Ouch!
The even support of a Kuranda bed is better for your dog’s joints.
Air can flow under the bed, keeping your dog cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
Our beds are easy to clean! Just wipe them off or hose them down.
Why not add a fleece pad for extra coziness?
Get your dog a chew proof Kuranda bed and you won’t come home to explosions like this:
