I have 5 large dogs (50-70 lbs.). I have had one of these beds outside in the sun and weather for about 2 1/2 years now. It's just now showing a little wear... I'm very impressed with it and the dogs love it!

When people come into our shelter and see that our dogs all have Kuranda beds in their kennels they know that we really care about our shelter animals. Our next big purchase will be beds for our open cat room.

I have an older large breed dog that has gradually lost control of her bladder when she is relaxed. Despite medication, she often "leaks". This bed is perfect for keeping her out of the mess at night. It drips right through the mesh. The bed is a breeze to clean with soap and water and my dog seems to be quite comfortable laying on it.

We just got 2 beds for our dogs. They were easy to assemble, are lightweight, but strong. I can move them around to the garage or back inside the house. Sadly, our big dog, before even sleeping a night in his new bed, was diagnosed with lymphona. He's home now and lying in his new bed resting after chemo. We know his time with us is limited, so being able to join him in his bed and cuddle with him has been a blessing. That's a strong bed, holding myself and my 97 lb dog! Knowing he is comfortable during this tough time is a relief. Great product.

My lab mix loves his X-Large cot. He's not real destructive, so we didn't need the chew-proof guarantee of the other beds. It's big enough for him to stretch out on. He sleeps on it every night and when he's in the house, its his spot to go to when we need him to be calm and out of the way. He doesn't like feeling confined so it works better for him than a crate. If he's outside during the day, I just move the bed out with him and he'll lay on it outside too (and it frees up some space in the living room). I keep a blanket on it for padding and to help keep it clean. I'm buying another one for our new Border Collie rescue. The screws loosen from time to time and have to be tightened...not a big deal though.

…We have diligently been searching for a bed that would work well for (our dogs) outside.  This purchase is my second bed.  The first is still in use…  We are in fact considering another if there is enough space in the yard to allow it.  I am completely, 110% satisfied with your product.  The first bed is two years old and survived not only my dogs, but I ran it over with my F250 truck and it lived to tell the tale.

Used in cat boarding facility (a really nice one) - I love it because I can cover the bed with a fleece blanket and make it into a "tent" for the cats. One cat can be on top, another in the tent - the cats love to sleep inside - I put a fleece pillow inside the "tent" to make a cozy bed/sleeping area. They are a cinch to clean up between guests.

We are a no-kill, free-roam cat shelter. We find the Kuranda bed to be a purrfect fit for a shelter. As long as each cat has it's purrsonal space, there is really limited friction. In this frigid cold weather we set them in front of the pellet stove and they all have their own space and relax. In the summer, next to a cool wall or outside in the pen for a little r & r. Smaller ones fit under tables and shelves to utilize limited space. They are so easy to clean and completely disassemble and totally disinfect for disease control. They move easily for cleaning.

The Humane Society of Amherst County in Virginia recently bought beds for our cat cages. They are a huge success. The cats love them, have more room and they are a happy addition to our shelter. We will be buying more very shortly. Thank you Kuranda!!
