Warranty extension on dog bed corners

Dear Kuranda Dog Bed customer,

We would like to thank you for using Kuranda beds; we love receiving all the great feedback and photographs of your dogs enjoying their beds!

We are writing to let you know that we have extended our normal One Year Warranty coverage on the PVC corners to 18 months in light of a breakage issue we learned about last spring. After trying two different compounds and doing numerous tests, almost by accident we found that the culprit was the pigment we were using was causing the plastic to weaken over time. Since changing pigment suppliers and switching to a very robust PVC compound in March of this year, corner breakage has dropped to almost zero. We believe this problem is virtually solved as our stress tests show that the combination of plastic and pigment we are using now is both strong and flexible which is what is needed for our corners to hold up to the most rambunctious dogs.

If you have corner breakage beyond the 18 month guarantee please contact us and we will work with you to make sure you are satisfied.
