Our Textilene (Outdoor Mesh) fabric is perfect for beds that will be left outdoors; its open weave is similar to what you’ll find on outdoor patio furniture. It will allow water to pass through and is very breathable. That being said, because of its open weave design, it is more vulnerable to dogs who may dig excessively or who may be more destructive. It is not covered under our 1 Year Chew Proof Warranty.

If you need a more durable fabric that is suitable for outdoor use, our Heavy Duty Vinyl would be a good option. It is a solid, smooth fabric surface similar to a gym mat-type material. It is non-absorbent, so water may pool on it but it can easily be wiped down or tipped over to get excess water off. It’s our most durable and easiest to clean option as well.
