I use this bed as a place for my dog to "hang out" and/or sleep. I got the short legs and the cordura fabric because he has hip dysplasia. The bed is outstanding. It is comfortable and it is safe.
Your service is fabulous. I ordered the wrong size and you worked with me graciously and were very helpful in managing the exchange. I live in a tiny town, so the process took some attention to detail to make sure UPS could pick up the return bed as well as deliver the new bed to me.
Thank you very much for the good bed and your superior service!

I debated for several months whether or not to purchase these beds, they had wonderful reviews but my dogs destroy everything and I was worried. A few months ago I finally decided to purchase 4 (3 are the XXL and one is XL). I also purchased the Heavy Duty 40oz vinyl cover with a standard (non aluminum) bed.
These beds have been excellent, the dogs scratch/dig at them, chew on them, jump on them and they have held up so well, no rips or tears-these beds can really take a beating. They are also super easy to clean- I just take them outside hose them down and either let them dry for 20 minutes in the sun or wipe them down with an old towel and they look as good as new! I will be purchasing more of these beds soon and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a bed that will hold up to destructive dogs.

We crate and rotate 3 dogs and decided that kuranda beds for all 3 would make them more comfortable.
We like how they are raised up off of the ground and the extra joint suppport they get.
But we noticed that they slide to the middle of the bed no matter where they try to lay and they seem to be uncomfortable about it.
It would be best to also get the comfy soft bed covers that strap around all four legs so they don't slide around. Other than the sliding, the 3 crate beds were a good buy.

This bed solved the problem of my australian shepherd mix chewing her bedding. No pillow, cushion or pad was a match for her jaws, but with this bed there is no way she can chew it and she is much happier. There is no more turning and tossing caused by lying on the hard crate floor.

I bought this bed for Jenna. She is a Lab mix rescue she was reduced to sleeping on a towel because I got them cheap she tore up every bed I bought. She doesn't like laying directly on the bed but loves the fleece cover with the bed and she does not chew it. I now have two one for home and one that fits in our travel crate. Thanks a million for a great product!!!!

Got this for my rescue pup. She had one in the shelter and I wanted to start training her to stay in a cage when gone as she has way to much energy to be left unsupervised (likes to chew on things). Worked great. Just measured the inside of the cage and matched with the size of the bed. It was a perfect fit. Also liked the extra tall legs included with the purchase incase I want to use it out of the cage and on the front porch during the summer. During the day when I'm home, she on occasion just walks in the cage and takes a nap so it must be comfortable.

Susie, our 8-month-old American Bully, used to wake us up early every morning when she was bored. Now she loves sleeping in! She loves her Kuranda bed!
For a pup who shreds towels, the fleece mat is holding up pretty well after a month. The bed fits perfect in her crate, and her sharp puppy teeth haven't made a dent in it.
The only downside is it's a bit of a pain to remove from the crate, but it's super easy to clean.
I've been recommending this (and will continue to) to all of our dog-owning friends. I'm so glad I found this site!

We love this bed design - now we have one for each of our 2 dogs (one of whom had eaten every single previous bed, including one made of bullet-proof kevlar), and also our cat. They are so much more hygenic than a stuffed cushion, and best of all, my husky can't chew it up when she's in her crate! I'd recommend these beds to anyone.
